Privacy Policy

We built AstroPredict with privacy guaranteed: the most personal part — your photo — is used only to read your palm or face, and is never stored or shared. This notice explains what we do process, why, and your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Your photo

The camera image and any photo you upload are used only to measure your palm or face for your reading. When our servers help with a scan, the photo is analysed in memory and discarded straight away. Your photo is never stored, never shared and never used to identify you. A small preview may be saved in your browser’s storage so you can see your reading again; clearing site data removes it.

What we store

• Derived measurements (for example line lengths, face proportions, and a simplified outline of hand or face points used to redraw your map) — not images.
• Your name, gender (optional) and birth details you enter, to compute your kundli.
• Email and/or phone number if you pay or ask us to send your report link.
• Payment status from Dodo Payments or Razorpay (we never receive card or UPI credentials).
• Ad attribution (campaign parameters) to understand which ads bring visitors.

Why

Only to produce, deliver and let you recover your report, to process payments and prevent fraud, and to measure our advertising. We do not sell your data and do not use it to identify you from your face.

Who helps us

• Dodo Payments or Razorpay — processes payments.
• Open-Meteo — when your birthplace is not in our built-in list of Indian cities, the place name you type is looked up there.
• X (Twitter) — measures which ads bring visitors, only after you agree (see below).
• Our hosting provider — runs the servers and database that hold your reading.

Consent and your rights

You consent before any scan starts, and before you enter birth details for a kundli. You may withdraw consent, access, correct or erase your data at any time by writing to us through our contact page. We respond within 7 working days.

Grievance officer: details will be listed here. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Readings are open to all ages. If you are under 18, please use AstroPredict with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, who should also make any payment. When a date of birth under 18 is entered, ad measurement is switched off on that device, and we never track children for advertising.

Retention

Free readings are deleted after 90 days. Paid readings are kept so your link keeps working, until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept as required by Indian tax law.

Cookies & tracking

We use the X (Twitter) conversion pixel to measure which ads bring visitors. It loads only after you start a scan or a kundli — the step where you agree to this notice — and never on shared report links. It never receives your photo, birth details or report text.AstroPredict may also count visits with privacy-friendly analytics that we host ourselves. Blocking these does not affect the service.
