Our method

How readings are made

1. Measuring — computer vision and image processing

Computer vision locates the hand or face in your image. Image processing looks for visible palm creases and measures features such as face shape, proportions and symmetry. Lighting, focus and position affect the result; unclear details can be left unread. These measurements supply the reading rules below. They do not verify a palmistry or astrology prediction.

2. Matching — to ancient sources

Each measurement is matched to rules we have written down from these sources, with the page or chapter recorded:

  • Samudrika Shastra — Classical Indian study of body and face features (Lakshana).
  • Hast Samudrika Shastra — The Indian palm tradition — line and mount names (K. C. Sen, 1960).
  • Brihat Samhita — Varahamihira, 6th century — chapters 68 & 70 on features.
  • Cheiro & Benham — The two most-cited modern palmistry texts (1894–1900).
  • First-impression research — Peer-reviewed studies on how faces are perceived (Willis & Todorov 2006, Todorov 2015, 2017).
  • Parashari Jyotish — for kundli: sidereal positions, whole-sign houses and Vimshottari dasha, calculated precisely from your birth date, time and place.

Readings that predict illness, death or harm are deliberately left out, even where old texts include them.

3. Labelling — how strong each claim is

  • Traditional: Found in the classical texts (Samudrika Shastra, Brihat Samhita, Hast Samudrika Shastra). Cultural wisdom, not tested science.
  • Widely cited: Repeated across the major modern palmistry and astrology books (Cheiro, Benham, K. C. Sen). Popular, still not scientifically tested.
  • Research-backed: Supported by peer-reviewed studies — for example, how people form first impressions from faces. These describe how you are perceived, not your destiny.

Limits

Palm, face and astrology readings are guidance for reflection, not certainty. They are not medical, legal, financial or relationship advice. For face readings we never estimate age, ethnicity, caste or attractiveness. Lines and expressions change over time, so a later scan can read differently.
